With just under a week to go until the start of the 2020 World Cup Gymnastics in Melbourne, preparation is well underway and athletes starting to arrive.
Taking place at the state-of-the-art Melbourne Arena, the first two days act as qualifying sessions, leading up to the much-anticipated finals.
This year is the fourth and final year of the World Cup stop in Melbourne and is met with much excitement, being one of the final chances for athletes to qualify for Tokyo 2020.
The significance of this is highlighted in the calibre of countries and athletes competing.
For the first time the United States of America will field a team, with superstar Jade Carey set to take the floor alongside MAG athlete Stephen Nedoroscik as their preparations for Tokyo ramp up.
It will also see a strong showing from Russia and Japan, whose gymnasts will be looking to take home an array of gold medals throughout the week and secure their Olympic spots.
This year will also see the return of the Flying-Dutchman, Olympic gold medallist, Epke Zonderland; three-time Olympian, Vanessa Ferrari and British young-gun, Claudia Fragapane.
