Day 1 of Qualifications Recap

The 2020 Gymnastics World Cup finally got under way with a strong Day One of Qualifications already completed.

Melbourne and Melbourne Arena, welcomed back world class gymnastics for the fourth-successive year with over 30 countries and 100 athletes, competing across the four days.

Day one of competition saw several of the World’s top athletes take to the podium for the first time, ahead of one of the biggest event years as we head towards to Tokyo 2020.

Competing for a place in the much-anticipated finals spot on Saturday night saw MAG athletes compete on the Floor, Pommel Horse and Rings. And for WAG athletes, the Vault and Uneven Bars.

Tomorrow night will feature MAG Vault, Parallel Bars and High Bar and WAG Beam and Floor.
